Mission: Episode Six: Supernova rising
Location: Deep in Tzankethi space

XO's Log,

This started with the receipt of a federation distress signal and we proceeded with all due haste, but with caution as it was located deep within Tzankethi territory. As we got closer, our intel analysts discovered that the signal had no attached identifiers of any sort so I placed the ship at yellow alert. As we approached the source, we discovered it to be a federation station of some sort. No life signs so I lead a small away mission to the station and we were immediately set upon by hurq. One of my members noted that the hurq seemed to be decaying as if they were already dead, we later confirmed this with a more detailed scan. It seem the bodies have been reanimated and are very aggressive, but still retain a manner of intelligence as they employed hit and run and ambush tactics. We deactivated four power relays that prevented us from returning to the ship and beamed back. After a period in quarantine, we declared safe and released. When will this madness end I wonder. I still have several hundred years, at least, left to live thanks to my mother, so perhaps sometime there would be peace with no dead things still trying to kill me.
