Captain's log, supplemental

Mission:
Episode Nine: Life bubble
Location: Inside Ka’var nebula
Timeline: Stardate 96709.77 ... at least I think it is...
It seems that we're in a nebula with a singularity as its perpetrator and our neighbor.
The time distortion has been reduced, thanks to the efforts of Chief Arev and Lieutenant Voidstar, but only to a ratio of about 1:10.
Therefor, assuming standard Starfleet procedure for reconnaissance, it'll be at least another day for us before the search party will decide to give up the search.
Given that, unless we'd power the life support systems and risk discovery, we've decided to adopt a suggestion made by Ensign Trea.
Actually, a quite logical approach.
The crew will be induced into a coma, to reduce oxygen consumption and will be wrapped in thermal blankets.
A few of us, Ensign Trea who requires no oxygen or heat, Dr. Dion and myself will remain on duty.
Mr. Voidstar and Chief Arev will remain in partial wakefulness, in case they will be needed.
It's an ominous atmosphere, in the lounge.
I feel like I'm on the ferry of the dead, with Charon making the rounds.
In a EVA suit...
