Mission: Episode Sixteen: Turn a page, change a book
Location: Starbase 39 Sierra
Timeline: Stardate 96873.9

I can hardly believe that it's been already more than three weeks since we've limped our way to Starbase 39, after the battle of Delta Volanis cluster.
Those weeks were nothing but hard work, assisting the wounded, repairing damaged ships and debriefing the brass on every aspect of the information that we've got.
And about Cora. She couldn't be hidden anymore.
Unexpectedly, the reaction of Command wasn't as paranoid as I've feared, especially due to the hijacking episode by S-31 code.
But the victory in battle, probably the whole war too, was credited to her actions to break free and destroy the enemy flagship.
Application to recognize Cora and Pandora as independent and sentient beings has been submitted to the review board, but it will probably wait 'till the dust of this conflict is settled.

Yes, the war...
With the reconquest of Earth Spacedock and Starfleet headquarters, last week, the Federation government is in process of normalization.
Pockets of resistance, especially by Section 31 battle-groups are still being suppressed across both quadrants, but people are beginning to feel the peace returning to the Federation.
There will be much rebuilding and repairing to do, as well as thoroughly weeding out of the rogue organization's cancer.

Now will be a time of reflection, both as individuals and as groups.
I still have no indication as to the fate of the crew of Cychreides.
For now, we were allowed to remain under the same structure of command, but soon Starfleet will need to reform its ranks and post its every member according to its needs.
Would we get a ship or would we be dispersed across the fleet?
Would I ever have command again?
What do we want our future to hold?
