Mission: Episode Seven: Deeper than we know
Location: Near NGC 5567
Timeline: Stardate 97696.15

There was no sleep this night, as the crew has been making the final preparations to enter the NGC 5567 nebula.
According to "Guide" T'tur of the "People" from planet "Home", the "Blue Ones" vessel that attacked them was is traveling inside the nebula, in search of the planet "Home".

According to the "Guide", the "Blue Ones" are bent on a mission of genocide against his people and asked to destroy the enemy vessel before it finds his home-world.
During the senior staff meeting Lieutenant Trea correctly pointed out our duty to uphold the Prime Directive, by not interfering in any way with alien cultures' dynamics of any sort.
However, unwilling to leave the possibility of genocide hanging over an entire race, without making an attempt to resolve the situation while not breaking the directive, we've agreed to seek the second vessel and appeal for negotiation.

I would of course leave a small team, on a shuttle, to assist in repairs and medical treatment of the damaged ship.

May we make the right decisions and would be able to live with them.
