What keeps amazing me always, is the universality of feelings.

I'm not sure that "feelings" is the essence that creates this universal connection, but there is some underlying ingredient that seems to unify all.

Chief Arev has been the amplifier to Ensign Talel empathy, as both has been instrumental in identifying our current plight.
Babies? Children? None of us are certain.
But there seem to be some type of fluidic being that has gotten into our nacelles.
And that song of emotions gotten them to resonate and entice a reply from... their parents?

Maybe we anthropomorphize.

Yet, we are in front of a crack into a strange and barely detectable nebula, that seems to be their origin.

"Number One, please go to engineering and make sure both my officers will not collapse of over-taxation"
