Dominion surely love their protocol and wouldn't settle on anyone except the most ranking representatives.
As we have another stretch of exploration close to the Dominion space, we could not afford to alienate them.

While returning from a conference with a local Dominion-allied prefect, I've decided on a gesture to our science team.
Within BSG-33576 there is a M-class planet, that seems to contain a primitive sentient civilization.
To avoid any Prime-Directive related contamination of their culture, I've decided to avoid closer exploration or bringing the ship too close.

Having only a shuttle, we could be in and out and none the wiser.
