When was the last time we had a place to return to? A home, of sorts?
Rh'ti? No, we were on a temporary assignment there and even that was shorter than planned.
Starbase 621? Does docking there once count?
No, the Cychreides has never had a safe heaven, a place to rest and... heal.
Neither of the three...
*Chuckles*
Fate is a harsh mistress and I am not about to give in to hopefulness, tempting her ever watching gaze.
But the crew needs hope, it needs to belong. We all do.
So, there is nothing else for me to do then go through the corridors of Telek station, like a young Academy cadet on his first tour.
I'll show them hope and I'll look for any way to heal them. All of them.
