Location: Delta Quadrant
Timeline: Stardate 98182.4

Sometimes luck and misfortune are two sides of the same coin that is spinning on the tip of a sonic driver, waiting for fate stop it.
Yet sometimes it keeps spinning, showing an eternal combination of both, at the same time.

Finding a Cooperative-Borg Cube was a stroke of luck for Aria's chance of survival.
It was heavily damaged and already being assimilated by a Collective-Borg Probe.

I must commend the fast mobilization of my XO, Dr. Sherkar and Commander Essex, along with a select MACO team, in destroying the probe and trying to salvage the Cooperative individuals.
Unfortunately, the only person we managed to rescue, before the Cube was destroyed, was a baby Borg.

It is being treated dutifully by the doctor, dividing his care with Ensign Talel, and I'm optimistic for the chances of both.

Now, remains to report, explain and accept the consequences.
