Mission: Episode Fifteen: Stardust
Location: Deep Space
Timeline: Stardate 94643.74

The matter we have gathered is stored and categorized on board the Luna.
I must note that our "catch" was significantly richer than that of the two shuttle sent by the Luna itself.
I must attribute it to the superior piloting skills of Lieutenant Karlsson, giving us the opportunity to get closer to the core of the Pulsar system and deeper into certain debris clusters.
The whole thrill of it has started to grow on me, though it is probably coupled with the certainty that whatever happens, a team of the best professionals in Starfleet will solve it in no time.
I admit, that seeing Ensign Voidstar and Lieutenant Essex diagnose and repair the Runabout before departure made quite an impression on me.

On a more Astrophysical note, going deeper towards the galactic core exposes us to a larger number of older galactic formation, thus makes the possibility to study the remnants of Supernovas and their by-products a viable one.
I may yet complete my dissertation to the Trill science academy on the Pulsar enigma!
