Mission: Episode One: The Death of Blue Star
Location: Space
Timeline: Stardate 94947.73

The truth of the Blue Star is not something anyone would have wanted to find out.
It's dark and horrible but most of all it's about people's hubris and desire to leap ahead faster and be greater than they really can.

Our teams are in quarantine and will remain there for a while. I'm the meantime Dr. Dion and Dr. Sherkar are working on synthesizing the cure made by Dr. Wilkins to distribute it among the away-team members and the Blue Star itself.
I've instructed Lieutenant Sh'shivass to schedule a session with each team member to assess their condition and need for further therapy.

As for the Blue Star itself, I've been ordered to destroy it.
I can't imagine anything more fitting and thorough than flinging it into the nearest star - a blue giant.
