Mission: Episode Six: Anger management

Timeline: Stardate 95116.27

The first part of this unpleasant business is done and over.
I had no doubt of its outcome, yet the process had to be performed properly to remove any future inquiries.

But the proceeding today will be of a different nature.
Commander Dovok will obviously not be tried for kidnapping a ship and a crew. He was acting under the influence of a well know condition that
is well established in the medical and judicial literature as one that prevents and logical thinking for people under its influence.

No, he will be tried for his actions before his condition taken over.
Why didn't he come forward and explain his situation?
It's not some thing rare and shameful, something that nearly one tenth of the fleet has every 7 years.

And Dovok should have felt comfortable approaching me with it, as I've confided in him at the time.

It brings me to the words that Mr. Voidstar said during Kara's proceeding.
He was way out of line and it may be some time before he gains my trust again, but maybe there was some grain of truth in them?
Maybe I've not gain my crew's confidence? Maybe I should've been more sensitive to their behavior?
Maybe.
But as Commander and Second Officer, Dovok should have been responsible enough to overcome any of his Captain's shortcomings.
