Mission: Episode Twenty Three: Unnatural selection
Location: Gamma Quadrant
Timeline: Stardate 95732.23

It's a bliss lying on a biobed, with a large dose of painkillers coursing through my blood.
But routine is a necessity to keep one focused and away from pessimistic thoughts.

So, my report of the events on Mioka is as follows:

The decision was made to beam in a strike team to the closest location to the Dominion ship, penetrate the Mishally lines and destroy that ship.
Without it, the Mishally wouldn't be able to easily cross the seas to the Okally and the war will come to an end. For the near future.

The team, MACOs under Lieutenant Treslet, Mr. Voidstar and Chief Arev, Mr Essex as demolition expert, dr. Sherkar and myself - landed equiped with personal holo-generators.
Looking like the Okally, we breached the front line on the eastern flank and hurried north before the Mishally could regroup and counterattack.

On the landing site, we proceeded to destroy the ship using two techniques - Overload its systems and place explosives at optimal locations.

While the team was setting up the means of destruction, the Mishally finally counterattacked.

The fighting was short but fierce.
Before we've beamed away, me, dr. Sherkar, Chief Arev and three MACOs were severely wounded.

Now, lying on the biobed and feeling bliss, I'm happy to report that the mission was a total success and all involved from the Cychreides are recuperating nicely.
And we're on our way home, once again.
