Captain's log

Posted on Monday August 22nd, 2016 @ 1:50pm by Captain Dimitriy (Dima) Miller

Mission: Episode Eleven: From here to Then
Location: Deep Space Nine
Timeline: Stardate 93887.1

It has been almost a month since the Manek incident.
I sit now in the Captain's ready room an constantly remind myself not to log as the First officer.

Captain Mae received a well deserved promotion to Alliance command, coordinating the fleet activities in the Alpha quadrant from starbase 621.

The crew received the awards I've recommended and the ship has been undergoing it annual refit at Deep Space Nine.

And a wedding...

At 1000 hours we received a delivery from the U.S.S. Bellerophon, containing the Breen-Vulcan probe we have found not long ago. Command still haven't found any explanation for its origin or the reason why it came to Vulcan, 300 years ago.

I've assembled my best team, Lt. Commander T'pel, Lt. Essex, our new and promising Assistant Chief Engineer T'lak and Ensign Visone, in the ship's engineering lab.

Following every possible scan and analysis, downloading part of the memory core and correlation with know matter compositions, the team found that:
1. The matter of the probe is a unique composition that is yet in a stage of development at Breen installations of Adin Kel.
2. Parts of the probe are Preserver technology, taken from a location in the Raveh system.
3. The probe's origin is from a few months in the future.

What was the probe's mission or destination and who sent it, still remains a mystery.
We await Alliance command orders, following our findings report.
