When a Starfleet admiral plots to start a war out of vengeance, it makes you think.
How rare is that? Do we not hear of more misconducts of this kind because it is dealt in secrecy by people like us?

We were brought believing that the Federation is a beacon of justice, peace and freedom and Starfleet officers are the cream of its crop.

Perhaps it's hubris on our account?
Perhaps we must learn a little humility?
Or maybe not knowing keeps the bliss of our paradise and the light of our beacon.

But some people are doomed to travel the darkness between the stars. People like us.
