Mission:
Episode Twelve: Gifts from the future
Location: Enroute from Raveh II to Starbase 621
Timeline: Stardate 93892.9
Our mission on the surface of Raveh II was a success. However there it could have turned real ugly real fast. I think someone needs to have a serious talk with Intel. Our own intelligence departement is seriously understaffed so I will go easy on them at least.
The away team that in addition to my MACOs consisted of ensign Visone, Nox, and rookie shuttlepilot petty officer Velal made our way to the surface by shuttle, landed it out of plain sight near the target.
I choose to go on a recon patrol with my MACOs, taking mr. Visone and Velal with me and leaving mr. Nox with the shuttle. Our first scans found strange power signatures on a hill to the north of our landing position. To our suprise we found Na'kuhl working on a beacon or portal of some sort, and they were holding several Breen prisoners. In addition we found several Na'kuhl shuttles and about 50 Na'kuhl lifesigns on a landing pad to the southeast of the facility.
As they were about to move somekind of equipment to this portal we had to act, we couldn't let them get away with whatever they were planning to transport out of there. By orders from the captain we managed to destroy both the equipment, and the portal itself collapsed. As our detonations went off after the destruction of the portal, I do not think it was our doing.
With 50 angry hostiles on our tail we made our escape without any serious injuries, beeing beamed out right before they were on top of us, and Nox managed to return safely with the shuttle to the Cychreides.
Back onboard we sucessfully defended ourself from several attacking Na'kuhl ships, we located and captured surviving Na'kuhl from the ships we destroyed, and yes we did destroy each and every one of them.
Enroute to starbase 621 I just had to interrogate our Na'kuhl prisoners about the purpose of their mission on Raveh, and what interrogation method is more efficient then a telepathic ones?
Anyway, I discovered that they were to make sure the Breen equipment would be sent without an insident. And then something about; "tipping the scales and wiping the Federation".
I am looking forward to what Intel will get from all of this. After I have tightened them up a little that is.
Now I have to get used to signing my logs with "First Officer", but that is another story for another log entry however.
