Mission: Episode One: At the gate to the Deep
Location: Deep Space Nine
Timeline: Stardate 97612.95

That was the last day of waiting and preparing.
I hope that we've done a thorough job, as anything we've missed, we'll miss more in the emptiness of uncharted space.

It's been almost eight months now since my people decided to go on this part mission part exile, though all of it still doesn't fully register for me.
The upside was that as heroes, we've got to pick a ship.
And she's a beauty.
Very little vessels can compare to the Pathfinder class.
Its meticulously designed for deep space exploration.
Most efficient war-core, state-of-an-art impulse engines, energy conservation systems...
I'm daydreaming again.
It has all what Voyager done or dreamed of and then some.

And it has something nobody dreamed - Cora and Pandora.

Of course, the best crew in the Galaxy, too.

For our briefing, I have something different in mind.
