Mission:
Episode Nine: Through the Firmament
Location: Gamma Quadrant
Timeline: Stardate 97918
It's been two month to a day since we've left NGC 5567 and planet "Home" to continue their, now hopefully peaceful, life.
Thinking about that period, I must note that though we were welcome by both civilizations of "Home"'s descendants, I've never actually felt at home.
We've spent our time on the ship and kept our readiness at the highest standard, per Starfleet regulations.
The months after our departure were mostly of travel through an oddly empty region.
In the few systems we've analyzed, little more then stars and gas-giant planets were found.
One neutron star kept our Astrometrics occupied for nearly a week.
Yet, the routine the ship settled into created a pleasant, if a little tranquil, atmosphere.
Now again, we're back to the great void, sailing to the unknown.
