Mission: Episode Four: The Last Homely Station
Location: Deep Space Three
Timeline: Stardate 93972.33

It has been a long week.

Arrival to Deeps Space Three was a blessing for the crew and myself, after the trying experience passing by the Black Cluster.
I've decided to give the crew a short R&R on a shift basis, for the time we load the last of the equipment for our mission.
We've also got a few new faces aboard, notably Lieutenant Dovok, our Chief Science Officer.

Our last hours of inventory review on the station turned quite differently than we've expected, as the station was seized by a rogue Starfleet officer, Lt. Cmdr Dal Nenn, and his Orion syndicate allies, following the murder of the station active CO - Commander Tyv Th'zynat.
Some very convincing arguments on the part of my Number One getting access codes from a Ferengi merchant, good thinking on Dovok's part and Lieutenant Karlsson's brave action got us out of a tight spot, that got tighter due to some Orions paying us a visit.

In the end Commander Zus's teams arrested Nenn and three of his Orion goons with very little resistance from the station personnel.
I have received instructions to take temporary command of the station 'till the arrival of its CO, Admiral Xersh Rerggew, later today.

Except for Lieutenant Dovok, all of us got something to show for our action escaping the station.
Lieutenant Nox is still on medical leave in his quarters, Commander Zus is avoiding the stations and calls from a certain rebuked Ferengi, Lieutenant Karlsson has been having five sonic showers a day and I've got some nice limp.

All in all, it was a fitting sendoff to our mission, not at all the last homely station we've hoped it to be.
