Mission: Episode Four: The Last Homely Station

Lieutenant Dovok reporting,

After accepting transfer orders from the U.S.S. Cairo to the command of Captain Miller I reported for duty. Shortly after reporting to the Captain and meeting with several of the command staff the station was placed into a state of lockdown. We were unable to contact the ship or any of the station's command staff. The Captain and First officer elected to seek a way off of the station. I noted to the Captain that Starfleet directive regarding command staff going into danger without proper security was not advised. The Captain acknowledged my protest and continued with the attempt. The station was losing lifesupport we had only a limited amount of time. While looking for a way off of the deck Commander Uzeeta was able to obtain a level nine security rod from a Ferengi bartender. Shortly after Commander Uzeeta had spoke with the Ferengi, Lieutenant Lilly who used a tunnel joined us. The Captain and myself formed a plan as the Commander and the Lieutenant looked for weapons. The Lieutenant would use the fire surpression system to gain access to the shuttle bay and the shuttle to get us off of the station. While the Lieutenant was making her way to the shuttles, we came under fire from Orions. We were able to hold them off and the lieutenant made it to the shuttle bay. The Captain was hit by enemy fire, though not life threatening I was able to get the Captain to the transporter pad and tend to his wounds once aboard the shuttle. After a minor fire fight we made it to the U.S.S. Cychreides. The Captain was able to dispatch the Orion ships in the system and secure the station with a MACO landing party, lead by Commander Uzeeta.
