Timeline: Stardate 94966.62

We've arrived at the coordinates of the anomaly.
It looks like a star and a gas giant are locked in a binary formation with the latter is drawing the matter from the former. Which is physically impossible.
We've held our distance, but after scanning the objects some kind of feedback shocked the ship and caused a major energy drain that's getting worse as we draw more power from the warp core.
Leaving the area at anything higher that 0.05 of impulse power looks to be impossible.

So we stay and find the reason of it.
