Mission: Episode Ten: The search for the Nebula Part I & II
Location: Deep Space
Timeline: Stardate 94053.72

We have located the U.S.S. Nebula three light-years from the system where it disappeared.
The ship was boarded by a rogue ex-military group and taken over in a short but not bloodless engagement. Its Captain and First officers were killed.
I guess no one could have expected more of a training ship and the only question remains is - what were Starfleet command thinking leaving such a ship alone in an uncharted part of space.

I personally led the tactical team to recapture the ship and managed to secure fast. Most of the hostiles managed to escape in two of the ship's shuttles, but were shot down by the Cychreides before going to warp.

My teams are working to bring the Nebula to some semblance of operational capability and I've assigned their security chief, Lieutenant T'val, as the active CO.
I'll be sending them back to Deep Space Three, as soon as repairs are sufficiently progressed, while escorting them part of the way.

I've interviewed some of the crew ensign Voidstar recommended and offered a select few, him included, a position on the Cychreides.
This is a good opportunity to get a pick of the Academy's best and with the Nebula practically decommissioned, neither Starfleet nor Alliance command objected.

These latest events are going to put us behind the major exploration activity, but I hope we'll catch-up in no time.
